13.5%, 20 months aged in French and American oak casks; and a further 6 months in large wooden vats where it is naturally stabilized. Made from 92% Tempranillo and 8% Graciano grapes.
Dark ruby colour with glints of violet; big oaky and fruity nose; hints of liquorice; com-plex and intense; deep flavours of plum and prune, with tones of dried cherry; has a lovely fresh tobacco and walnut/coconut finish. Was given the Royal treatment, includ-ing 2.5 years aged in bottles—all of which could easily classify it for Reserva status, which this wine legally meets. Pairs well with grilled or roasted meats, Portobello mush-rooms and vegetables.
