This unoaked chardonnay offers lovely lemon zest and orange blossom notes on the nose and proceeds to a full, creamy lovely chalky mineral palate, very much like a good crisp Chablis. Lingering finish and a baby Chablis at less than half the price!! Grown on a huge subsoil of limestone and chalk, hence its wonderful minerality. Future vin-tages to be called "Calcrete" because of the unique soil type. A good compliment to sushi, fish, pasta or chicken.
